Susan Denaro, Esquire

Susan N. Denaro, a native of Reading, Pennsylvania, is affiliated with the law firm of Rabenold Koestel Scheidt, P.C. and has practiced in Berks County for fourteen years and in New York state for two years prior to returning to Berks County. Ms. Denaro’s practice is primarily concentrated in the area of estate planning and in estate administration although she handles guardianships, adoption, real estate and family law matters. She has proudly served as Solicitor for Marianne R. Sutton, the Prothonotary of Berks County for the past fifteen years.

Ms. Denaro is a trained mediator and handles family law related mediations. She has served as a court-appointed custody mediator for the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County since the inception of custody mediation in Berks County. She participated in a panel discussion about mediating cases involving domestic violence for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence held at Penn State University, University Park in December of 2008. She has also lectured on mediating international custody disputes for the Berks County court-appointed mediators.

Ms. Denaro received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1986. She double majored in journalism and economics. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1989 from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, IN.

Susan has been very active in the community and currently serves as Secretary of the Wyomissing Library Board of Directors. She is on the Sustainers’ Advisory Board of the Junior League of Reading and also serves as a co-chair of the JLR Active’s Ways and Means Committee. Additionally, Susan serves on the Scholarship Committee of the Berks County Community Foundation and was recently named to its Door Knocker Society. She has volunteered her time to the Berks County Republican Party. She is a member of the Bausman Memorial UCC and the Endlich Law Club and the Berks County Bar Association.
