Jill Gehman Koestel, Partner
Jill is a Berks County native who was raised in Cumru Township and graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. She continues to reside in Cumru, in the home in which she was raised. Jill is actively involved in the Berks County Bar Association. She has served as Chair of the Public Relations Committee for which she was presented with two Presidential Awards of Merit. She has also served as Chair of the Law Day Committee, the Bench Bar Committee and the Family Law Section. Jill has served on the boards of Berks Women in Crisis, the YWCA and Women’s Counseling Center. She is currently a member of the Governor Mifflin School Board. In her free time, Jill enjoys reading, preferably on a beach. Jill resides with her husband, Bob, with whom she has three children, Kristina Mumma, Deanna Koestel and Jonathan Koestel, and two grandchildren with whom she enjoys spending as much time as possible.
Jill is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 1988 after spending 12 years in law enforcement working for the Federal Government. Jill has been practicing law for 20 years and has concentrated her practice in family matters such as divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, adoption and residential real estate transactions.
